DROP OFF AND PICK UP PROCEDURES - One nominated parent who drops off their child will be given a wristband for the day. At the conclusion of the concert we will be asking only the nominated parent to come into the holding room to collect your child.

HOW TO ARRIVE?

***Please ensure you only bring your child's costume bag that is labelled with your shoe and costume changes with a water bottle***

Please arrive in first costume . The program is attached below further down the site. Children need to wear convertible stockings.Please ensure children have gone to the bathroom prior to drop off.

WHAT TO PACK

Students will be given a Prodigy Costume bag with their costume. Please bring this on the day CLEARLY LABELLED with your child's name. Please pack Tap shoes, Ballet shoes, Jazz Shoes in clear snap lock bags clearly labelled and child's change of costume if your child is in acro or circus. Please pack water.

LABELLING

Please ensure your child has all items labelled including costumes and shoes. Shoes in a clear snap lock bag with name clearly labelled.

ATTENDANCE & PARTICIPATION

All students participate in our End of Year Concert and students work on these routines each week in class, developing their skills in the process and learning the importance of rehearsal, commitment, performance techniques and teamwork.

In terms of attendance, it is very important that students do not miss any of their scheduled classes between now and concert time so they can spend their rehearsal time together to perform their routines, feel confident and look amazing. Of course, this is only if it can’t be helped and in line with studio guidelines. If for any reason your child will miss a number of their regular classes in Term 4, we ask that you contact reception to let us know in advance.

If there is any reason why your child will not be able to perform at the concert on the dates and times provided, please let us know so we can make amendments to the class routines involving them.

PERFORMER FEE & COSTUME FEE'S

PERFORMER FEE

A concert fee of $55.00 per student will be payable. This will be direct debited on 6TH NOVEMBER. Students who have not paid their concert fee will be unable to perform in the concert. Your Concert Fee Includes:

-Digital Download of Concert Video

-Trophy

-Production Fee

The remainder of your costume fee and performer fee will be debited on 6TH NOVEMBER :)

CONCERT VIDEO

VIDEOS

We engage the services of a Professional Videographer. All parents will receive a digital download of their dancers show included as a part of your concert performers fee. All parents will be emailed with a unique log in which will enable you to view and download the concert videos at home.

Concert videos will be emailed out early January and will be available for 4 weeks only to download.

CONCERT DAY PROCEDURES

At the conclusion of the concert, the parent with the wrist band can enter the holding room space to collect their child . This will alleviate a long lengthy process at the end for collection and we encourage you to take photos and celebrate the day at the conclusion of the show as we have a pretty cool backdrop for our dancers :)

SECURITY & STUDENT SAFETY

As always, the safety of our dance family is our #1 priority. On concert day all students will need to be signed in / out of security lists to gain access backstage. All backstage helpers will be issued with security passes that are required to be worn at all times. Only PRODIGY staff permitted backstage. Please try not to bring anything valuable, especially electronic devices. Mobile phones are not to be taken backstage or in the changing areas during the concert. Our studio will take no responsibility if an item is damaged, misplaced, lost or stolen.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS

If your child has any Medical Conditions that may require attention whilst in our care or are carrying any medication with them, please notify our supervisors when you sign in.

WHAT TO WEAR AND BRING

All students are required to wear costumes provided to perform in as well as the correct footwear and TAN convertible stockings.  Please arrive in your first Costume of the show and pack all necessary shoes for the day:

Ready Set Dance - Tan Jazz and Tan Tap Shoes

Ready Set Ballet - Pink Ballet Shoes

Ready Set Acro- No Shoes

HAIR

Girls are required to have their in two high curly pig tails with hair piece.

Boys are required to have their hair looking neat and tidy.

MAKE UP

Make up is not required. If you would like to put some on, you are welcome to do so.

WHAT TO BRING

COSTUME BAG

Please ensure you bring all of your child's belongings in their costume bag with their name and class clearly labelled. We will bring these out for the children at the end of the show for easy collection and if all bags are labelled we can clearly identify who owns each bag :) (Picture attached)

FOOD & DRINK

In line with venue rules there is to be NO food in dressing rooms. Please bring a labelled water bottle ONLY. Our show runs for 1 hour so there will be no time to eat.

PHOTO DAY

Dance: Sunday 23rd November from 9am - Bookings are now open

Bookings are essential – You can make a booking via your online portal. 

1.Login to parent portal

2. Click on "Register"

3.Go to “Book Private Lessons and appointments”

4.Book the times you would like.

5.If you are in one routine, you need to only book one time slot, if you are in two routines, you will need to book 2 time slots.

Please allow changing time in between booking times.For example if your child is in cheer and hip hop, you could book Cheer for 10am and then book Hip Hip for 10:15am OR Lyra and Silks book Silks at 10am and Lyra at 10:15am

Costs

$25 per routine OR Sibling/Friend photo - $20

PROUD PACKS AND MERCH

It’s traditional theatre etiquette to bring a gift for performers after the show. This tradition has become increasingly popular at our preschooler concerts with lots of proud parents and grandparents greeting their little dancer after the show with a gift from our Merchandise selection. We have found that our preschoolers get a lot more excitement from the merchandise we sell rather than the roses we used to sell so we have produced some easy and fun options for you! To make this process even smoother, we have created “PROUD PACKS” which you can pre-purchase in the lead up to the concert. We found our items sold out quickly in previous years  with children getting upset and I don’t want our students to miss out so thought that presale was the best option.

Pre-sale is available online via your parent portal under "UNIFORMS" with collection on Concert Day so you don’t have to wait. This is a great option for family members attending the show.   We also have other options for sale online as we cannot sell items at the venue this year.
